Allows you to program your telephone so calls to your extension will ring at another number. This feature is used when you do not want to be interrupted, or you will be away from your desk. Some telephones will have automatic call forward in which calls will be forwarded if the telephone is busy or is not answered within 3 rings.
A COMMON PROBLEM IS CONFUSION BETWEEN CALL FORWARD, THE AUTOMATIC CALL FORWARD AND CALL TRANSFER. THEY ARE DIFFERENT.

Lift hand set:

2. Dial number where call is to be
forwarded
3. Hang up
To cancel:
1. Dial #1
NOTE: The person that you have your calls forwarded to can call you and give you your messages.
