CALL PARK

To be used in conjunction with a paging system. This feature eliminates the need for a paged person to call the receptionist to have a call connected to their set. Instead, the receptionist who is giving the page can indicate a special number where the call is "parked"; then the paged person can go to any telephone, dial in that special parked number and the call will be automatically connected.

 

            HOW TO USE

            Using Park Key to Park Call:

            With user on same line

                        1. Press the Park key

                        2. Dial number where call is to be parked (usually the person's normal office phone number).

                        3. Press Park key.

            To retrieve:

                        1. Press Park key
                        2. Dial parked number (usually the person's normal office phone

                        number).
                        3. Call is automatically connected

Using Transfer Key to Park Calls:

            With user on the same line:

                        1. Press Call Transfer key or Conference key
                        2. Dial 171
                        3. Dial number where call is to be "parked"
                        4. Press Call Transfer key or Conference key again

            To retrieve:

                        1. Lift handset
                        2. Dial 172
                        3. Dial number on which call is "parked"
                        4. Call is automatically connected
