To be used in conjunction with a paging system. This feature eliminates the need for a paged person to call the receptionist to have a call connected to their set. instead, the receptionist, while giving the page, can indicate that the call is "parked". The paged person can then go to any telephone and receive the call.
HOW TO USE
To park a call:
1. Lift hand set
2. Quickly press the switch hook (one of the tow buttons in the handset cradle).
3. Dial 171
4. Dial number where you wish to park the call (use the telephone number of the person being called).
5. Hang up.
To retrieve the call:
1. Lift hand set
2. Dial 172
3. Dial the number on which the call is parked (should be your City telephone number).
4. The call is automatically connected.
