Allows you to put your call on hold and then call another number. The person on hold cannot hear the conversation that you have with the second party. Therefore, it is different than Call Transfer or a Conference Call.
HOW TO USE
1. Press the switch hook quickly (one of the two buttons in the handset cradle).
2. Dial the number of the party that you want to consult
with.
3. Consult
privately
4. Consulting party hangs
up
5. You are automatically reconnected to your original call.
